Devoted to the Graceful Envelope Contest, the issue features full-color reproductions of 141 selected winning envelopes from 2009 through 2014. Editor/designer Lorraine Swerdloff is the coordinator of the annual competition, which encourages participants from around the world to incorporate the given theme in a creative design while using artistic hand lettering to address the envelope. Rounding out the issue are comments from contest judges about what makes a successful Graceful Envelope and two pages of winning entries by high school students.
