About the event
WCG members are invited to Anderson House, 2118 Massachusetts Avenue, NW for a free tour at 1 pm. (WCG members may bring a guest, but members must register on this page.) The one-hour tour will be led by Thomas G. Lannon, Library Director of the American Revolution Institute of the Society of the Cincinnati, who will show us some important museum holdings of interest to calligraphers as well as documents from 1775, the first year of the American Revolution and related events from 250 years ago.
Following the tour, members will proceed to the lower-level research library for WCG's Annual Meeting, where we will connect with other WCG members online via Zoom for a brief business meeting and election of officers for the coming year. We anticipate this hybrid meeting will begin at 2:30 and last less than an hour. The Washington Calligraphers Guild encourages all members to attend this important online meeting and, if local, enjoy this…
