About the event

Pointed Pen scripts have become more popular in the last few years. It seems everyone enjoys

doing modern scripts and personal variations yet fail to have a strong foundation on which to

base their letterforms. In this program I’ll show how learning a formal copperplate can serve as a

jumping off point to create a more modern and expressive script. I’ll be demonstrating some of

these techniques and sharing some examples of my work.
